Description
Commemorative Badge of the Lithuanian-Belarusian Front - Polish departmental military decoration. Established by order of the Ministry of Military Affairs and approved in the Official Journal of Orders of the Ministry of Military Affairs No. 49 under item 872 of December 13, 1921.Three-piece badge made of silver-plated tombac, connected with two 40x40 mm wires. It is an isosceles cross covered with black enamel. On the shoulders of the cross, inscriptions LIT - WHITE FRONT and dates 1919-1920. On the cross is a silver eagle, on the chest of which there is a shield with the coat of arms of the Jagiellonians.
Famous badge makers: Jan Knedler, Kazimierz Gajewski, Karol Gorzuchowski. There are many varieties without signatures or markings on the badge caps.
