Vintage fold-out Rand McNally color lithographed map of the world, published in the early months of the Second World War, more than 81 years ago.
This map opens to 20" x 26½" and is drawn on the Mercator Projection, at a scale of 1:63,677,000.
It folds into orange cardboard covers, with an ad on the back cover for Rand McNally's World Atlases and Indexed World Globes.
The map was printed circa 1940, based on the political boundaries as drawn and the code number in the lower margin:  0123456.
Condition:
It is in very good condition, bright and clean, with
no
rips, tears, or writing. A previous owner has stamped a date on the cover; there are no other marks on the cover or the map itself. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
