1984 General Drafting TravelVision WORLD MAP Miller Cylindrical Projection Color

Description

Handsome large-format fold-out color lithographed 1984 wall map of the World, printed more more than 35 years ago.
The map opens to 23½" x 34" and shows the World on an Equatorial Scale of 1:47,500,000, drawn on the Miller Cylindrical Projection.
There's an index to countries, cities, and other major features, as well as insets of the North Pole and South Pole.
The cartography is by the General Drafting Company of Convent Station, New Jersey. There are printed instructions on how to flatten the map for framing.
The map was produced by General Drafting for its "TravelVision" series. It is copyrighted © MCMLXXXIV (1984) in the legend, and the code number on the back cover is A3210W.
