Extreme Magenta Drop In back filter Welding Lens (2" x 4.25") - Read Description. Condition is "New". Shipped with USPS First Class. The way this lens works is by BLOCKING GREEN LIGHT. Magenta (A mix of both Blue and Red) allows both Blue and Red light to pass through it but blocks specifically GREEN light and tunes down Yellow light. Depending on the main welding filter this is added to it can drastically change the color of the lens while brightening the area around the weld zone and reducing the flare and haziness directly over the arc cone. If added to a teal colored lens it can be predominately colorless with this lens. A more Green lens will appear a neutral gray, An Aqua colored lens will result in an Ice Blue colored combination. Please note that this is meant to be used BEHIND your main welding filter as an ADD-ON and is not meant to be used as a stand-alone welding lens. It can however, be used in place of a rear clear lens. This is 3mm thick, heat resistant acrylic. This is EXACTLY THE SAME material, size and thickness as a 0 Phillips "Super Magenta drop in"  and the same as Clarity lens carries for less. Packaging:.
