Incredible antique 1910s Edwardian Silk lace wedding Dress, pearl beads, ivory

Description

This incredible dress is in stunning condition for its age. It has a lovely ruched bodice with stunning lace around the neck. The dress has a draped detail that runs around the front and back. Each element of the dress is lined with a glass pearl beaded trim. The skirt of the dress is so lovely and hangs asymmetric from two gathers; one on the front and one on the back. The sleeves hang under the drapery on the top and are very graceful. They are gathered in the front and are slightly belled. There is a cummerbund type belt that uses hooks and threaded loops to attach itself. The belt also has a celluloid support on the back with two sets of loops so the belt can be adjusted. There are hook and eye closures that run up the back. The only flaws this dress has are a few pulls to the silk and some missing white beads, only noticed with up close inspection. Pearl beads that were missing or broken have been replaced with new glass pearl beads. There where about 50 beads that were replaced and I will send some along for you to have extra. The original pearls are real glass and can shatter, just be mindful of this. The dress is made of a soft shiny silk. The silk is strong but it is a thin silk and should be handled delicately.  The silk itself is not fragile at all. The dress has been laundered and is ready to wear.

I am 5'3" and on me the dress is tea length please bear in mind the measurements to ensure fit.
