    Description

    Very hard to find vintage metal souvenir building of the Alabama State Capitol building in Montgomery, attached to a perpetual desk calendar.
    The Capitol is cast in metal with a
    bronze finish and very good detail. The base is inscribed "CAPITOL MONTGOMERY, ALA - CRADLE OF CONFEDERACY". The back has a round metal shield embossed with an image of the building reading "STATE CAPITOL - MONTGOMERY, ALA." It's attached to a bronzed metal base that has a perpetual calendar framed by a roped border. The individual cards have the complete sets of 12 months (on both sides) and numbered days. The bottom is covered in brown felt.
    It measures 4" tall by 6" wide by 2.5" deep, and weighs just over 1 lb.
    This was made in the 1930's-40's and is in great shape. Get it for your desktop or souvenir building collection. It's a rare find. Bid to win.
