NASA-Engineered ESA Ariane 1 Niels Paper Metal Model w Base Hi-Detail 19" RARE

For sale is a RARE NASA Engineer-created High-Detailed Paper Scale Model of the ESA Ariane 1 Rocket with launch/display base. Here is the back story: I got this and many other models from the estate of a local (Huntsville, AL) NASA engineer who, as a hobby, designed and hand-crafted extremely detailed scale paper models of many different missiles, rockets and other space craft. He compared notes with fellow engineers to assure scale and fine details. I haven't seen anything quite like these. I will be listing others, so feel free to contact me about specific rockets you may be interested in.
This is a detailed model of the European Space Agency Ariane I Rocket that stands just over 18" tall (20" with wood/paper stand). This is built off a Niels Paper Models design and includes metal piping in places.  You will have a hard time finding a piece quite like this one that stands a foot and a half tall. The rocket had been affixed to the base with a dab of glue, but I removed the rocket so you could see the detailed underside, where you can see a tiny scuff where the glue had been. The rocket will ship in a sturdy box with cushioned packaging. The shipping weight is 2 pounds.

Because I offer multiple pictures and detailed descriptions and prompt reply to questions, I do not offer a standing refund option.

At your request, I will be happy to create a combined shipping invoice on multiple purchases, subject to size/weight restrictions or any other eBay policy limitations.
However, eBay’s Global Shipping program may not permit combined shipping for international buyers. Also, I am not ever able to provide international returns.
As of 2019, many states have begun to require that eBay sellers charge sales tax on purchases made from residents of their state. If your state requires sales tax payment, that tax payment will show up on your invoice for final payment. I am sorry about this added cost, but it is a requirement of your state, and not a cent goes to me. Payment for purchases are expected within 3 days of auction end.
