You are buying a used but tested 8 Track tape Play head. Works for all types 1 or 2 Mego Models and on the Sanyo RD 8020A Tape Player/Recorder and other models as well. You would have to match this part at your own risk. Was serviced while in a working unit with other issues before it was removed to be sold. Even though the Mego 2-xl 8 Track Robot is a mono unit the tape heads that were used are stereo. I have a 2-XL shop where I can repair, fix and tune up 2-XL's and 8 track players like new.
I spend a lot of time on each unit. I own my own company and do it as a hobby. When considering my time and costs I'm not really making any money just the satisfaction from the hobby.
