    Description

    Medal "To Poles, former soldiers of the Red Army 1941-1945" - a decoration of the PRL period established by the National Council of Poles - Former Soldiers of the Soviet Army, operating within the structure of the ZBoWiD, to commemorate the participation of over 290,000 Poles and Soviet citizens of Polish origin, fighting in the ranks Of the Soviet Army, as well as Poles fighting in Soviet partisan units. The gold medal was added in 1982 and was awarded for organizational merits and strengthening the Polish-Soviet brotherhood in arms.
    The badge was two-tier: silver and gold.
