Care Instructions
Wash the mattress pad with the machine set on the gentle or delicate setting with two rinse cycle, using cold water. Add a small amount of mild or all-natural detergent. Too much soap can strip the pad, so be sparing.
Dry the mattress pad in a large capacity dryer on the lowest temperature setting possible to prevent shrinkage or stretching of the elastic. This will take 2-3 hours, but you want to make certain that the mattress pad is completely dry before putting to bed.

I recently bought a viscoelastic (memory foam) 2" topper for my bed. I sold bedding for many years, and will always believe that a quality innerspring with a 3lb density topper is the best way to achieve uninterrupted, restorative sleep. I didn't have a lot of money, so I purchased a very good department store topper at a good price. Unfortunately, a drawback to quality foam is the heat generated by the body. I was roasting. This mattress pad does a great job of keeping my body heat away from the foam with the waterproofing layer. I really don't care about the reviews that claim liquids get through. This pad is awesome at keeping me cool all night, and does not affect the ability of my topper to contour to my body and relieve pressure points. This should be a selling point in the description of this item.

Yes I have a waterbed, and finding cheap options to keep the heat from the pad in are hard because few things fit. This pad worked great and fit my queen sized waterbed semi-motionless waterbed. A semi-motionless is a full motion mattress with some cotton strung around to absorb waves. So if you have a full motion, this should fit. Kinda snug, but that's a pro because it hasn't slipped off yet.
