    FUNCTIONALITY:
    Without a blow-off valve, the throttle valve closes after the gas is removed, for example during the switching process. The air flow, which is still in motion, hits the closed Dorssel flap, reverses and flows in front of the rotating compressor wheel of the turbocharger. This brakes the turbocharger sharply.
