Of significant historical interest, this vintage water decal of the "Cotton Plantation State," depicts African-American women picking cotton in a plantation field in Alabama. It dates back probably to the mid-1950's and is a very rare example of old water decal art.
Manufactured by THE MASTERCRAFT DECALCOMANIA, CO., of Chicago, this water decal measures 3" tall by 4 1/8" wide and is numbered MD 11. It is in full color and is in almost perfect condition with minor creasing and bending due to storage.
