Vintage PERSAUD Scottish Mace Bearer with White Busby Doll in Original Package

Description

My Grandmother obtained this doll for me during her trip to Scotland in 1973.
This doll was only used as a display piece on my bedroom dresser and was never removed from its original packaging.
The doll measures approximately six inches tall and is one to two inches wide.
The doll also has "gravity eyes" that open or close based on the doll's horizontal or vertical position.
The doll was never placed in direct sunlight and always resided in a smoke free house which has contributed to its vibrant colors and overall excellent condition.
The round clear plastic display tube has the name of the doll in the following gold letters: "Mace Bearer with White Busby".
Due to the length of the name and its horizontal placement, the letters are displayed on three sides of the plastic tube.
Also shown is the manufacturers name "PERSAUD" and its logo exhibited in gold.
The round clear plastic display tube is approximately seven inches tall and two inches in diameter.
Note
:
The round clear plastic display tube has been slightly compressed inward on the front and rear side but it hasn't affected the integrity of the container.

As noted earlier, some of the display tubes gold letters are visible from this viewpoint.
Note:
On the bottom of the clear plastic display tube there are small fragments of a gum band that broke which held the gold mace to the soldier.

I have retained this Scottish Mace Bearer with White Busby Souvenir Doll for over 45 years; however, since my wife and I relocated from Manassas, VA to Fort Myers, FL we no longer have the space to display or indefinitely store all my childhood memorabilia items.
Subsequently, I have decided to post this Scottish doll for sale on eBay.
This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a vintage Scottish doll.
