Isn't she lovely! Vintage 60s to very early 70s formal dress in a beautiful combo of cotton sateen and breezy voile. Features include:
Flattering empire or raised waist styling
Lavender cotton sateen full skirt gathered into raised waist
Lavender band accentuating empire waist and bustline
Voile bodice in in a leafy swirl pattern in tones of pink, lavender, cream, and orange giving the overall effect of coral
Jewell neckline edged in lavender piping
Long voile sleeves gathered into tight 4-inch lavender cuffs
Three glass ball buttons on cuffs which actually fasten with hooks and eyes hidden underneath
Voile print floating panel or train adds back interest
White cotton blend lining
Nylon back zipper closure
This dress was exquisitely custom tailored by a very skilled seamstress. It appears to be the type that was custom made to order from custom bridal shops popular at the time. It is truly one of a kind, and you will never see another like it.
